RoadBlock in the Amazon

The end of the year is approaching like a road train on the Stuart Highway and, I admit, I'm not ready. Too busy packing orders, doing deliveries and navigating the staggering suite of seller tools on Amazon. 

I often think about Amazon, and how different life would be as a seller without it. Every time I want to sigh or whinge about its long, uncompromising forms and endless multi factor verification systems, I remind myself that I'm actually in there. It really is an incredible platform.

Remembering that Amazon is just a big, busy department store (that happens to be online) I imagine how many walls it has literally and metaphorically broken down for small businesses like mine and specialist products like RoadBlock - Spider and Ant Automotive Treatment.

As it is, Roadblock's individual product ranking is creeping up in its category weekly and I find myself becoming more and more invested in the never-ending reporting tools on offer. 

Outside of Amazon, 2025 has been about pitching and presenting RoadBlock to some of the country's biggest traditional retailers alongside brand's that have been talking the retail talk for decades. We also have a trial underway with a major fleet management business and are continuing to supply to some of Australia's biggest online pest control businesses, hardware stores and select car dealerships in Sydney and beyond. 

As a single product business without corporate backing, scaling RoadBlock will inevitably take time and patience but we are getting there.
