We are excited to announce that the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has advanced our application to extend the use of RoadBlock to Fire Ants. This means that Australia’s only pest control product specifically for vehicles just got even better.
We’ve always known that RoadBlock could treat and prevent ants, spiders, and their webs in vehicles, but we wanted to prove beyond doubt that it could be used in the fight against dangerous Fire Ants in Australia. We also wanted the APVMA’s seal of approval.
To secure this approval, we completed extensive field tests on Fire Ants in Queensland. These tests showed that Fire Ants coming into contact with RoadBlock on typical automotive surfaces died within seconds—even months after application.
In practical terms, this means that drivers can use RoadBlock to treat their vehicles (whether cars, utes, trucks, or even tractors and earth-moving equipment) to reduce the risk of accidentally transporting Fire Ants from one location to another.
RoadBlock is a simple yet powerful aerosol product specifically designed for vehicles. It can be used in a targeted way and is effective against spiders, ants (including Fire Ants), and cockroaches too. Use it to treat an infestation or to prevent one!
